Creator Forward: Summer Accelerator

Are you a high school senior or young woman who loves creating videos, telling stories online, or exploring social media? Not planning to go the traditional college route? This is for you.

Creator Forward: Summer Accelerator is a free, hands-on program for teens and young women (ages 17–20) in Newport News and surrounding areas. We’re here to help you build skills, confidence, and career direction in the world of digital media.

Who Should Apply:

• Young women (17–20 years old)
• High school seniors or recent grads
• Not currently enrolled in college or a career track
• Passionate about content creation, digital storytelling, or social media 
• Open to learning, growing, and trying something new

This program equips young women with real digital skills they can use immediately — even if they don’t go to college. It meets them where they already are (on social media) and shows them how to turn it into something strategic, confident, and income-producing.
